Signing in
You sign in with the email address your invitation was sent to and the password you set. Axial Fit is invitation-only for now, so your first sign-in starts from an invitation link.
Your first sign-in
- Open the invitation link you were given. The page reads "You're invited to Axial Fit".
- Enter your email address. The page then says Check your email.
- Open the email and use its link to set a password. The link works once, for five days.
- Sign in with that email and password.
- Read the Terms and the Privacy policy and tap I agree. Then the setup starts. See Setting up your first plan.
Invitation problems
- No email arrived. Check your spam folder first.
- The link has expired or been used. Every link is made for a number of people and an end date, and stops working when either runs out. It can also have been canceled. Ask the person who invited you for a new one.
- "You already have an account". Sign in instead.
Signing in later
Tap Sign in on the home page. If you are already signed in, the home page shows Open app instead.
Not sure which email you used? It is the one your invitation was sent to. Once you are in, it is shown on your Account page, under Sign-in, as Email address.
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in page, use Forgot password.
- Follow the reset email. It comes from the sign-in service, which holds your password; Axial Fit never sees it.
Change your password
Open your Account page. Under Sign-in, tap Change beside Password, and a fresh link goes to your email.
Change your email address
This cannot be done from the app yet. Write to support and a person will change it for you. Everything else on your account stays as it is.
Put Axial Fit on your home screen
On an iPhone, open Today in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Axial Fit then opens full screen from its icon and asks you to sign in once more.
On Android, open Today in Chrome, tap the menu, then Install app.
Signing out
- This device: tap your avatar, then Sign out.
- One other device: on your Account page, under Devices, tap Sign out beside it.
- Every device: on your Account page, tap Sign out everywhere. This includes the device you are using.
The Devices list shows each signed-in device by type, such as iPhone, and when it was last used. If you see one you do not recognize, sign it out and change your password.
Signed in again before something sensitive
Downloading your data or deleting your account may ask you to sign in again if you signed in more than a few minutes ago. This protects your account if someone else picks up your device.
If the terms change
If the Terms or the Privacy policy change in a way that matters, you are told by email before the change takes effect, and you can agree early. On the day it takes effect, Axial Fit asks you to agree before you continue. Until you do, you can still read the documents and help, download your data, delete your account, sign out, and finish a session already under way.
